Walk to Fairy Falls by August Hess


For my walk, some friends and I went for a hike to Fairy Falls in the Columbia River Gorge. My rules were to react to the surroundings when inspired using performance art, tarot cards, and poetry. I created a small movie (shown here in 4 parts) of our walk.

AND I found a new love- making short films!! This is my first try at it and it took forever but was a blast!

    August! I love this video. Looks professional.

    It is very interesting how your friends reacts

    in nature. They adjust their movements to

    reflect the nature what they are looking at.

    Waterfall movement with shaking hair was

    really cool!

    August, loved the sideways visuals in the first segment! what a great idea! I loved the waterfall of hair too.... and the music.... and the evidence of fun and communing with nature. what great friends!
